Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep and side-glancing flirty eyes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with rich-painted lips, blonde wig with ringlet curls, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish with flaking on left arm and left leg. Marks: 71 Unis France 149 306 Jumeau 1938. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1938, portrait of the English Princess Margaret, this version with custom costume created under commission for the Parisian store of Louis Vuitton. Value Points: the doll wearing original ivory brocade taffeta gown, undergarments, socks, shoes, strand of pearls, and a wide-brimmed woven bonnet with velvet banding and flowers, and having original label "Louis Vuitton rue Marceau 78 Paris".
