Description
27" (69 cm.) Felt swivel head with very angular sculpting of facial planes, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey eye shadow, curly upper lashes, wide smiling expression with row of painted teeth, very slender elongated body with stitch-jointing at elbows and hips. Condition: good/very good, some moth holes and fading, lips repainted. Comments: Lenci, circa 1924, from their earliest production, the model depicts a harlequin and has original stitched on colorful felt costume with multiple collars. Value Points: very rare early model.
