Description
9" (23 cm.) x 8". Each is of soft burgundy velvet over firm card stock base hidden by silk lining, and each is richly embroidered with raised silver metallic embroidery in abstract scrolls centering thickly embroidered scenes or symbols. Excellent condition except larger which has some wear at spine and lacking interior lining. The book covers open flat allowing their alternate use as wall panels. 18th century.
