Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) A large brown cast iron bear is standing at one end of a the cast iron base, and at the other end, a Native American is posed kneeling, his rifle aimed at the bear. When a coin is placed in the barrel slot of the rifle, and lever released, the Native American nods his head and fires the coin into the coin slot of the bear who opens and closes his mouth. With early "Pat Pend" embossed plaque on the underside base. Overall good with original paint except feathers are replaced. American, 1880s, J. & E. Stevens.
