Felt swivel head with pressed facial features, blue glass inset eyes, painted upper lashes, blue lower eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded coral lower lip, blushed cheeks, blonde mohair curly wig, felt torso, velvet arms and legs with jointing at shoulders and hips, mitten-shaped hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: The Genuine Princess Elizabeth. Sole makers Chad Valley (two original paper labels on doll). Comments: Chad Valley, portrait doll of the English princess, circa 1935. Value Points: pristine condition of the rare doll, with luxurious hair, original blue organdy tiered dress, pearls, undergarments, socks, shoes, with two original labels, and preserved in original labeled box.
