18" (46 cm.) Solid domed paper mache head with flat-cut neck, painted brown side-glancing eyes with white accent dots, black upper eyeliner, brown eye shadow, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with flat-neck upper torso to accommodate to head. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1938. Value Points: rare variation of the portrait Princess Elizabeth doll, having unusual neck construction and painted eyes, and wearing original rayon faille dress, peach cotton undergarments, woven socks, white leather shoes.
