13" (33 cm.) All-wooden doll with one-piece torso and head, painted shoulderplate and face with rosy complexion under wax finish, blue painted eyes, painted earrings, closed mouth, original brunette human hair wig, elongated torso, flat-front lower torso, dowel-jointed shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted lower arms and legs, flat black shoes. Condition: structurally excellent, the wax finish has wear, original paint on arms in worn. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1830s. Value Points: very rare doll with well-articulated body, unusual facial decorations.
