Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) The cast iron owl is perched upon a log, against an upright branch, with well-defined talons and feathers, glass eyes. When coin is placed on the top of the branch and lever pressed, he turns his head abruptly, causing the coin to fall into the bank. Generally excellent, trap door is a replacement. American, circa 1880s, J. & E. Stevens.
