Description
17" (43 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brown painted hair in short boyish manner with stippling around the forehead, narrow blue glass inset eyes, brown painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined tongue tip, shaded and accented lips, double chin, French composition toddler body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 226 Paris 6. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque and painting, fine lustrous patina of complexion.
