Description
22" (56 cm.) All composition with socket head, brown sleep and "flirty" eyes, painted lashes, real lashes, black feathered brows, open mouth, four teeth, black mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: very good/excellent, some light craze on right arm, eyes faded. Marks: Shirley Temple 22. Comments: Ideal, circa 1938, the licensed doll by Disney representing Snow White was made using the basic Shirley Temple model with variations of decoration, wig, and costume. Value Points: rare large size of the doll in rarer variation of the velvet and ivory taffeta gown with stenciled blue designs on the skirt, and with matching cape, undergarments, shoes and socks.
