8" (20 cm.) The soft-paste majolica figurine depicts a Brownie as The Dude, standing upon a self-base which simulates stony ground; he wears a fancy gentleman's suit with long tail jacket and top hat. Incised 2890 from the series. Excellent condition. Circa 1895, inspired by the Palmer Cox Brownie illustrations.
