19" (48 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, untinted sculpted boyish hair in side-swept manner, narrow brown glass inset eyes, brown painted lashes with dot highlights, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though wide open in crying expression, sculpted tongue and two rows of porcelain teeth, French composition and wooden fully-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 233 Paris 8 (head). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine sculpting creates a very expressive model with deeply-defined creases around the mouth and eyes, very fine quality of bisque.
