Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, very plump round face, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, double chin, blonde lambswool wig, Sonneberg body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, some body wear. Marks: B.E. (large block letters). Comments: Sonneberg, mystery maker, circa 1880. Value Points: rare model with distinctive expression, wonderful antique costume comprising velvet mariner style suit.
