Bisque shoulder head with slender face, elongated throat, and head inclined haughtily upward, brown glass sleep eyes, heavy modeled eyelids, dark eyeliner, painted lower lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig in upswept coiffure, slender kid body with pin jointing at hips, elbows and knees, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 172. Comments: Kestner, the doll was modeled based upon the illustrations of the American artist, Charles Dana Gibson, noted for his renderings of 1910 era society ladies. Value Points: distinctive model by known artist, with original body, fine quality bisque, lovely antique costume.
