21" (53 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, arched brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, padded-stockinette over metal armature body with shapely torso, carved wooden lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.8 G (block letters on head) FG 8 (shoulders) (Gesland stamp on body). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1886, on original Gesland-made body deposed by Pannier. Value Points: beautiful wide-eyed bebe with original body, wearing original bronze-green silk dress with lace trim, matching bonnet, undergarments, leather boots.
