18" (46 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brush-stroked baby hair with sculpted forelock curl, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined shaded lips, two porcelain upper teeth, composition bent limb baby body, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JDK made in Germany 14. Comments: Kestner, circa 1914. Value Points: beautiful gentle expression is enhanced by finest matte bisque.
