19" (48 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with oval face,elongated throat,small oval cobalt blue glass eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line,ears pierced into the head,kid body with stitch-jointing at elbows,shoulders,hips and knees,beautifully costumed in black wool and purple silk with matching bonnet trimmed with purple pansies,undergarments,shoes,carrying pocket watch trimmed with coral beads. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful lady with rich presence,glass eyes,rich costume.
