12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, brown enamel inset eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth with defined space between the lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, Bru kid poupee body with shapely torso, gusset-jointed hips, bisque hands, antique costume included. Condition: generally excellent, left baby finger broken at knuckle, although the head and body are ordinarily for bebe (head) and poupee (body),they appear entirely original to each other. Marks: Bru Jne 2/0 (head) B (left shoulder). Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882, a desirable size with endearing expression, beautiful body in fine condition.
