Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, large brown googly side-glancing eyes, painted lashes and brows, rounded nose, "O" shaped mouth, auburn mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and paper labels). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930s. Value Points: brilliant colors of vibrant felt costume are well preserved, including red felt dress with polka dots and patches, blue felt head scarf and shawl with red stitching, linen petticoat and pantalets with red scalloped trim, wooden soled shoes, and carrying a wooden piglet.
