Description
19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, large round "flirty" googly eyes, painted upper curly lashes, slightly-modeled short brows, grey eye shadow, rounded nose with accent dots, "O"-shaped closed mouth, mohair wig in long blonde ringlet curls, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, one slipper has small moth hole. Comments: Lenci, circa 1938, from a very limited series of glass-eyed googlies presented by the firm at that time. Value Points: wonderful original condition, the wide-eyed child is wearing organdy ruffled gown in shades of pink and blue, with two matching petticoats, ruffled edge pantaloons, pink felt slippers, satin bow in hair.
