18" (46 cm.) All-composition with socket head, sleep eyes, painted lashes, dark eye shadow, open mouth, four teeth, dimpled cheeks, blonde mohair ringlet curled wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Marks: Shirley Temple Ideal N&T Co. (head) Shirley Temple 18 (torso). Condition: very good, some face fading, shoes and socks not original. Comments: Ideal, circa 1936, dress appears similar to smocked model inspired by the film "Stowaway", but originality is uncertain. Value Points: pretty doll with lovely costume.
