Description
Each is a luxury souvenir of an elegant Viennese ball, designed as a remembrance of that particular formal ball; many include a list of dances designed for a gentleman to write his name, reserving that dance. Included is 3" faux-bone table with applique metal scroll and decorations along with tassels, for Niederwald, January 1895; 2" diam. burgundy velvet-covered case designed for later use as pincushion, with colorful velour tassels, and an attached burgundy silk covered dance card and pencil on the reverse; and 2" uniquely shaped box with velvet and gilt metal cover, green silk tassels, and attached dance card and pencil for Schuken-Kramchen of March, 1887. Excellent condition. Viennese, late 18th century.
