Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, light blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined full lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed poupee body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers, rose antique gown with lace trim, undergarments, leather shoes, beaded purse, lace-edged cap. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1870. Value Points: luxury-size poupee has very fine delicate complexion with soft rose blushing, sturdy body, original wig, and lovely antique costume.
