39" (99 cm.) l. 30" h. A woven carriage is designed as an early automobile, with front designed as an engine cover, and with woven "running boards", rolled arms and back, well-detailed woven sides, four metal wheels, metal frame, upholstered leather seat and back with tufting, and a canvas roof with roll-down shades at the sides. Very good/excellent condition overall. The extremely rare automobile carriage was designed as a luxury toy and it is likely that very few models were ever created. American, circa 1900.
