11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump rounded face, large brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, painted side lashes, angled shaded brows, tiny button-shaped nose, closed mouth with watermelon-slice-shaped smile, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A made in 5 Germany JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: charming little googly with mischievous expression is enhanced by very fine bisque, painting, original body and body finish.
