27" (69 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, hand-tied brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with shapely female torso, elongated limbs, nicely costumed in antique dress, black woolen cape, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H dep 1159 11 Germany (head) Heinrich Handwerck Germany (body). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful quality of bisque, unusually large size of this model, original body and body finish.
