9" (23 cm.) Tinplate carriage with gracefully curved sides and footboard has double-spoked wheels,embossed decorations at crest of head and foot boards with finial tips and scrolled gilded bars at the sides,curved handle and wooden handgrip. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,Maerklin,circa 1890. Value Points: fine original Art Nouveau painting in shades of rose and cream with painted leaves and flowers is beautifully preserved; included is porcelain figure of swaddling baby.
