26" (66 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, almond-shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes, mauve-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked widely arched brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with richly shaded and accented lips, separately modeled pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, kid poupee body with shapely torso, gusset jointing at hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, 1/8" original firing line at back top of shoulder plate. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: the luxury model of the firm's poupee line has exceptional beauty of both sculpting and painting of features and delicately blushed complexion, very sturdy body, lovely antique costume including silk gown, embroidered velvet apron, and silk umbrella of maroon and blue silk.
