Description
24" (61 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with black painted pate, enamel inset eyes, painted facial features, open mouth, two rows of square cut teeth, pink kid fashion body with separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, some typical wear of paper mache, nose tip rubbed. Comments: French, circa 1850, the doll has her original hand-tied human hair wig, and wears an early mauve velvet gown, bonnet, hand-stitched undergarments.
