Description
Each is a luxury souvenir of an elegant Viennese ball, designed as a remembrance of that particular formal ball; many include a list of dances designed for a gentleman to write his name, reserving that dance. Included is 3" medallion-shaped plaque with velvet background and gilt metal frame enclosing an arrangement of crossed swords, with attached blue silk dance cards at the back (no details given); 3 1/2" rose velvet covered scroll-shaped case with ormolu frame enclosed vintage photograph and silk dance card at the back for IX Burgerball Feb 1901; and 2 1/2" medallion-shaped plaque with slate and black velvet background and gilt metal frame enclosed an arrangement of shovel, pick-axe and bowl, with tassel trim, dance card missing.
