All-wooden doll with socket head, well-defined carved facial features, intaglio blue eyes with white eyedots and glazed highlights, black upper eyeliner, closed mouth, blonde mohair tacked-on wig, spring-jointed wooden body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17,'11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: wonderful expression enhanced by original finish, original sailor costume.
