22" (56 cm.) All-composition doll with socket head, hazel sleep eyes, painted lashes including dark upper eye shadow, open mouth, four teeth, dimpled chin, blonde mohair wig with ringlet curls, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: very good, eyes faded, facial complexion lighter than body, chip at back neck socket (hidden inside head), felt flower is worn on her dress. Marks: Shirley Temple (head and torso) 22. Comments: Ideal, circa 1936. Value Points: perfectly preserved coiffe, wearing original costume from the film "Curly Top" comprising yellow rayon dress with collar, separate black velvet bolero top with embroidery and floral design, undergarments, shoes and socks, yellow ribbon in hair.
