Description
9" (23 cm.) All-bisque figure of seated baby with blonde brush-stroked hair and forelock curl, intaglio azure-blue eyes with black outline, white eye dots, red and black upper eyeliner, closed mouth with smiling expression, sculpted crossed ankles, sculpted smock decorated with blue bows, and holding a brown tabby cat with curled tail. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12289 Germany. Comments: attributed to Hertwig, circa 1910.
