Description
44" (112 cm.) h. x 29"w (73" high including table base). Of dark wood, the front facade depicts an elaborate cathedral with double towers, clock, and various niches and carvings, while the back exposes an open area. The cathedral sits upon a rectangular base which contains musical mechanism, with turn key at the side. A separate dark wooden narrow table fitted for the cathedral base is also included. Condition: structurally excellent with only some minor chips, however the mechanism is a mystery, requiring restoration, sold as is. Comments: probably German, mid/late 1800s. Value Points: beautiful architectural edifice with fine detail of carvings.
