Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,large grey glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading and darker grey outer rims,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked and feathered brows,mauve-blushed eye shadow,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with very full accented lips,separately-modeled pierced ears,original blonde mohair wig with interwoven ribbons,kid poupee body with shapely torso,gusset-jointing at hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent,professional overpaint on front shoulder plate is imperceptible. Marks: 8. Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau,circa 1875,the model evolved into the first luxury or portrait model of Jumeau bebe which appeared in 1877. Value Points: luxury size along with superlative quality of the gorgeous face,wig,and eyes,is enhanced further by fine antique gown (probably original),undergarments,leather boots,Jumeau earrings,brooch and beaded bag.
