17". Paper mache shoulder head, painted facial features, closed mouth, original brunette human hair over black painted pate, kid body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, choice original finish and very sturdy body. Comments: French, circa 1850, the doll wears wonderful original costume of bronze green silk gown with beaded and lace decorations, beaded coiffe, leather shoes, jewelry, undergarments.
