15" (38 cm.) Hollow press-modeled head with sculpted short brown baby hair, painted large brown eyes, dark upper eyeliner, rounded nose with accented nostrils, tiny closed mouth, press-modeled toddler body with shoulder and hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, circa 1930, the model was introduced as "Prosperity Baby". Value Points: wonderfully expressive features, the doll is wearing original organdy dress with rick-rack trim or white cotton undergarments that are also trimmed with pink rick-rack, and with pink felt coat, bonnet and booties with white rick-rack trim and a dangling streamer of flowers.
