15" (38 cm.) Solid domed paper mache head with flanged neck, bald pate, painted facial features, grey downcast eyes, fringed upper lashes, short stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, peach muslin body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 275 Paris. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1930. Value Points: rare model with fine original finish, unusual downcast eyes.
