9" (23 cm.) l. carrot. Each of hand-modeled paper mache with caricature heads depicting various foods including egg, apple and carrot, each with hand-painted features, and two with original paper labels "Museum Extension Project WPA", designed for use as puppets. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: 1930s, Works Projects Administration, purposed to help starving artists during the Depression Era.
