Description
20" (51 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, painted curly upper lashes, brown eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth, auburn mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (paper label pencil marked BH 12) Toscana (heart-shaped paper label on wrist). Comments: Lenci, circa 1938. Value Points: well-preserved in original box, the doll wears vibrant original costume including embroidered vest, appliqued-stripes on skirt, and carries felt rooster.
