Rare Grand German Wooden Red Roof Dollhouse by Moritz Gottschalk

27" (69 cm.) The wooden framed two story house, with original cream painted finish has green shutters, red roof, and original wooden platform. The first floor porch also serves as entry foyer with separate stairway to a small second floor porch, and a larger second floor porch has striped awning which can be opened and closed. An outside door opens directly to a toilet chamber with built-in toilet. There are five rooms in the house plus large attic space and a double-door garage, each room with original paper wallpaper and flooring and most with original lace curtains at the windows. The exterior is decorated with stencil-decorated shutters, grill-work, gilt-tipped finials, room dormer, chimney and a tin lithographed mailbox "Briefe" hangs outside the house. Some original Gottschalk wooden furniture is included. Excellent condition throughout with original finishes well preserved, Moritz Gottschalk, circa 1910.
