Description
29" (74 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, very plump cheeks, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and widely-arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with full lips, hint of tongue tip, dimpled chin and philtrum, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, Gesland medal armature body with padded stockinette, composition lower limbs. Condition: generally excellent, paint finish on hands worn. Marks: F. 12 G (head and shoulders, block letters). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1884, with original body by Gesland. Value Points: especially pretty model with early block letter markings, lovely bisque and painting, and with original Gesland body.
