20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with slender oval face and elongated throat, brown sculpted hair waved behind her sculpted pierced ears into two large looped curls that frame four large vertical finger curls at the back, and with a braided coronet at the crown topped with a coronet of gilt-edged beading, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, aquiline nose, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms, elaborate costume. Condition: generally excellent, right earring hole chipped through, right fingers restored. Comments: attributed to C.F. Kling, Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair color and elaborate coiffure with beaded tiara.
