16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with dainty prim smile, accent line between the lips, impressed cheek dimples, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 189 (head) Made in Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: most endearing expression is enhanced by very fine quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
