23" (58 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with slender face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair waved away from her face, with feathering details at the forehead, and captured in a thick looped curl at the back, and with sculpted comb at her crown, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth, muslin body, porcelain lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, left porcelain foot missing. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rare coiffure with elaborate details, sculpted pierced ears, lovely antique black taffeta dress, undergarments.
