15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1867. Value Points: beautiful face with brilliant eyes, rare wooden body with full articulation, wearing fine antique costume.
