Description
3 1/2" (9 cm.) h. urn. Comprising a very rare urn-shaped rosewood necessaire with rich carving, bone tip, which unscrews to reveal the fitted interior with six bone sewing tools, barrel-shaped needle case; leather folio needle case; walnut-shaped plated thimble case; tortoise pin cushion with mother-of-pearl inlay; and rare tiny 2" velvet-covered bobbin lace form. Excellent condition. Mid/late 1800s.
