29" (74 cm.) Muslin mask face with pressed and painted facial features, dramatically-painted brown eyes with grey and white accents, mohair lashes, closed mouth, blonde fleeced hair with elaborately-arranged rolls and ringlet curls, elongated muslin torso and upper limbs, composition hands and lower legs, gold painted heeled shoes. Condition: some facial spotting, nose dent. Comments: French, attributed to Gege, circa 1920. Value Points: fabulous coiffure and richly-decorated eyes, original velvet costume in pristine condition.
