17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, brilliant cobalt blue glass eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with delicate accents to pale lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig, slender kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips and knees. Condition: bisque is excellent, body worn, bisque hands not original. Comments: French, attributed to Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: most beautiful face and modeling, brilliant cobalt eyes, fine antique costume with elegantly fitted gown having extended train.
