20" (51 cm.) All composition with socket head, sleep eyes, human hair lashes, open mouth, four little teeth, blonde human hair in original curls, jointing at shoulders and hips, wearing original ivory lace gown over taffeta under-dress, undergarments, socks, silver shoes, and with reticule and crown. The doll is marked Princess Elizabeth Alexander Doll, and the costume has the original Princess Elizabeth tag. Generally excellent. Alexander, circa 1936. Shirley Temple had a particular fondness for the British princess; the doll is in the photograph of Shirley's collection, Appendix E.
